Upgrade to 05 RX-1 Black and Blue Seat?

I finally bit the bullet and just ordered a Boss seat for next season.

My 05 black and blue RX-1 seat will have to go. If you'd like to go to a taller seat on your 03 or 04 RX-1 this would be a good one to buy. It sits you up taller and seems to make the sled feel a bit more maneuverable (maybe because your weight has more effect with the higher center of gravity).

If you'd like I can include the tail light and the plastic tail light cover with the seat. Heck, for a fee I can even send you the exhaust covers and tail cones if you'd like since I went to an under tunnel exhaust. Please send me a PM if you're interested.

I would be interested if the seat was all black or black/silver. I have the 03 RX-1 LE which is silver. The seat on the 03 is rock hard. $450 for a new seat from the stealer. For that much I should upgrade to a Boss seat myself

I know Boss is a little cheaper but check out Moutain Mod. I bought one from Murray through John and it's the best seat I have ever sat on.

Bought a black and silver 06 Nytro Seat for my 05 RX1 for $400 at Jackman powersports in Maine. Not sure what the cost of a Boss seat is? In my mind the seat has been worth every penny! The sled is so much more comfortable its a totally different machine.
