My left side upper a arm bolt keeps coming loose and I can't quite figure out why. I have tightened them and used blue locktite since they were first installed. I have Ulmer race bushings that seem in good shape. There is slight play in the upper a arm when i grab and move it back and forth.
I had also installed the Grizz subframe kit as well to the newer subframe after bending my first one.
Anyone have any ideas? I don't think I should be using red locktite for obvious reasons. Is it ok to have slight play in the upper a arm??
Any thoughts? bent A arm? bend subframe? replace a arm inner sleave?
Also has anyone added a grease nipple to their a arms like the newer models have? What size do you need and do you need to replace the inner sleave?

Red Loctite should do it torqued to 32 ft lbs
Stupid question, but did you forget to reinstall the shaft that the bolt passes through inside the a arm? Or, is that shaft worn?

I guess I will try the red locktite. I just assumed that heat had to be used to loosen a bolt with red locktite and didn't think all the plastic around that area would handle that well
The shaft/collar is a little oblong (egged on the one end) I and going to replace that as well.

There was a recall for the left upper a arm nut that's welded to the frame. My 09 had the recall, not sure if it affected other years. There was a burr that needed to be removed if I remember right.

Make sure the threads of the bolt and the nut are clean. Any crud in there, even old loctite, can hinder the effects of loctite.
