Upper vents

Just swapped out the black vents for red, noticed they are a different pattern (wider metal) than OEM but are a Yamaha replacement part.
Anyone else switched & had this?
Actually like 'em better not seeing inside the panel as much, maybe keep some snow out?

My left side (clutch side) has smaller holes in the screen right from factory (2011). I just sanded mine down and sprayed primer and paint on them. Looks good red!

Yeah I tried painting them first without sanding anything not thinking about the PC/ paint- primer just didn't hold, finally got all the white off...
$37 on ebay, the holes aren't that much smaller, gonna get a top vent next season as well.

I cleaned my original stock black and repainted red with Krylon spray paint. They still look great.

I got those on my sled...I was able to paint the wifes vents on her sled. Self etching primer is your friend..

my plan is to plasti dip mine white, water and snow is getting in either way so personally im not about to spend $35 when i could use half a can of $8 dip. if i dont like it i can just peel it off.
