Anyone try the USI X2 Triple Threat skis on a 09 Nytro XTX? Looking for a ski for this sled that will do deep lake snow as well as reduce darting on trails. Cheers.
yeah I have them on my xtx DONT use stud boy shaper bars. Use a standard carbide or maybe even dullies. I like them in powder steering effort is increased a bit though. Call the factory for set up tips they are very helpful.
By no means am I saying this is the best ski for the xtx I haven't tried any other types but it works well for me.

hard to turn, i have 301x ski's on my apex with shaper bars with the easy setting on the power steering. Hard to turn
The hardest part is getting the weight off of the front and trying to get the tippyness out of the sled with the shaper bars and a very aggressive ski it bits too much.

I have X-2s on my XTX with 9" Shaper Bars. They are agressive and the sled is on rails on hard pack trails. Takes a bit of effort to turn, but at least it goes where I point it! They work great off-trail too!
