I want to switch the ehaust over so it exits out the bottom of the tunnel on my 06 Vector MTn. What do I have to look for when looking at aftermarket mufflers. I know you can loose HP with exhaust mods done incorrectly. I would like to cut it off womewhere under the seat and weld on something else. I know SLEDSKIING could pipe in on this one. He went with a Yoshimirra exhaust. Got any part numbers for other's mods? I like the Yoshi exhaust, but don't know which one to get or if it even matters. I know there are Yoshi exhausts on ebay that work fine but are being sold because they are scuffed up. Thanks for the info guys and also I am planning on a MCX turbo, or possible the MPI Super this winter.
Thanks
Justin

I used a muffler that was for a 450 moto cross bike when I did the exhuast for sledskiing. It was a closeout one for a CRF I think. The I.D. on the core was 2" or 2 1/8", which is the same for a 1000 cc sport bike but they are usually shorter by 3 or 4 inches. Those few extra inches can make it a tight fit if you want it to stay under the tunnel.

jj,
i'l sell you my exhaust if you give me your stock one. that way you don't need to cut yours. I also have a aluminum peace to cover the hole in the tunnel
How about $250. We each pay our own shipping.

Actually I've done a TON of resurch and I think I'm going to go with the white knuckel exhaust. Seems to have some very nice benefits. Thanks anyways though.
