Well for the Canadians, if it matters to you , you Can NOT go from mph to kph on the guage from the us, the mode button is actually blank and does nothing,, besides that all is good!

Not True. Mine came from the states too and the mode button is blank also.
I was worried just like you, but hold the Select button down for about 10 good seconds, and you'll be happy.

I've rode all year with my vector gauge and it has been working perfectly for me.
-Temp light came on last trip out when things were getting hot and road running.
-High beam works fine
-I blew a grip warmer and code 81 came up so the codes are likely the same. I further tested this by testing the TORS system, which also threw the correct code. Further tested it by unplugging the oil level sensor, and the proper code came up also.
-low fuel also works clearly.
-Gas levels are identical, grip and thumb warmers are the same.
From my research, the ecu controls all that, and both the stock nytro gauge and the vector gauge have the exact same buttons. And with all this testing I did, I would say they are identical in function!

Hey Beenba thanks for your reply. Would love to have the vector gauge on my rig, maybe next year.
Just one more thing i wished Yamaha would do to make the nytro more of the bomb. Do the powers that be ever actually look at that gauge(stock nytro) and feel they hit the mark? Take a vote people! just me venting!
