Like to know reasons why you decided on the long track over the short. Will the long track corner as well as the short?Push? Can you slide the tail around in corners like the shortracks? Is a long track advisable for a very aggressive trail rider?

I went from a 06 Vector GT to a 09 vector ltx gt and will never go back to a short track. The long track makes all the difference on a rough trail and bridges the bumps so much better than the 121 track. I had no issue with cornering or handling, I did put on a set of dollies. I converted my husband to a 136 track this year & he loves his new sled.

Way better ride on a rough trail. A little more flotation in deep snow. And probably the first thing you will notice is the extra traction with the longer track. Crazy acceleration vs the 121. That's my opinion on the matter although you will always have people who will argue the above points. I will never own a short track again.

if you need to "slide" around the corner then your sled is not "hooking up" you need to set your sled up correctly , which will mean the stock skis go in the trash ! i have the 136 and i will never go back! much smoother and the ride is much better.

The only 4 stroke Yamaha that I have ever been able to slide around a corner is a Phazer. I hate to say it but it is a weight thing. I have ridden Nytro's and Apex's with 121" non-studded and there is no sliding thru the corner that I have experienced.

Like others have said above, I too will not go back to a 121" skid again after owning my 136" Rage. I like the ride and flotation of the 136". G.B.

Can't say enough good about 136. Not going back to 121 either. In fact, was looking for a new apex this year but i don't even want to go down to a 128. Will wait for a vector ltx with eps! Btw, don't notice any pushing into corners at all but I have 5.7 pilots on there.
