How many Vector owners have installed roll over valve kits on their Vectors. I know they make them for my Nytro, but was wondering if I should put one on the Wife's Vector (she might roll it) not on purpose of course. Do you need them on a Vector?

I would think all sleds would benefit having one, especially if the roll over scenerio is greater than normal (off trail riding especially) I personally don't have one as I am strictly a trail rider, but it wouldn't be a bad idea as you never know when it can happen.

Doesn't appear anybody has installed them on Vectors.

I'd like one, after dumping mine up in Pittsburg. Its runs for about 10 seconds before it automatically shuts down...filling the airbox.

I have one on my Nytro and glad I do. I'm up in Errol (getting in some riding) and rode up to Pittsburg yesterday and there were some nasty windblown snow drifts that could catch you off guard.

Yeah, I was up there last week. Riding was great, but the wind was bitter and the drifts had erased the trail completely in some spots. I'm 3.5 hours south, and our riding has pretty much gone away completely (although February was excellent). Since I had just driven so long, I took the airbox out on the trail and cleaned the oil out with paper towels. Absolutely froze my hands off, but seemed OK after that; I rode the Shatney mountain north loop along the Canadian boarder. I did see a group of three guys riding Nytros, cool sleds for sure.

Our 2010 RS will leak oil on rare occasions. It seems to do it when there is a lot of fresh powder riding? Could that be? Unless the wife tipped the machine but not enough to roll it over and some got in the box? not sure. Baffling.
First time it was leaking seemed cold weather with lot's of powder riding. I brought it into my shop and thawed it out and it stopped? I couldn't find any leaks. 2nd time went away itself. All I did was bring it in to the shop to thaw. Odd.

I wonder if one likes to keep the oil level right at the FULL mark (like me) if this contributes to oil getting into the airbox? I think I'm going to keep the oil level just under the FULL mark. I don't have any issues with oil in the airbox but I'd like to avoid them if at all possible.

You may be right. I think the oil was full or just over when I filled it. It doesn't use oil so I may keep it 3/4 full.

I'm the same way, always to the max full mark but I have yet to have any oil in my air box from just normal riding.
As long as the oil is in the hash marks, your good to go so no harm running it somewhere between the low and the full marks.
