2005 RS Vector ER
I bought a used 2006 Apex clutch to replacement the worn out grooves on my stock 2005 vector clutch. I thought all I would have to change out would be the weights and primary spring and I would be good to go. Now I am wondering if the rollers are the same mm?? Anyone else know if I need to change any other part.

The rollers are close to the same. 14.5 mm vs 15mm. This will lower engagement & also give you lower initial rpm,s on take off. Not a huge diff & you may like it better. All the specs for stock clutching(all years) is in the tech pages for future refernce.

You are right my engagement went from 4500 down to 3700 and I am overreving on low end to midrange to 8800-8900 and it settles back down to 8500-8600 on top end...The primary spring I had was a blue silver with a rate of 88-288 and when I ordered a new one they sent me a blue green with a rate of 77-315 and between the Apex rollers and the different spring I am way slower from Midrange to top end(Getting beat by an 05 xp500sp in 1600' and I used to kill that sled from bottom all the way to top..Maybe I need to switch out rollers, go back to blue silver primary spring...This started as a Goodwin kit using a 52-36 helix and Polaris S-53H weights...

You need to go back to your original primary spring. The higher rate is giving a big overrev off the line.
