2009 Nytro XTX
I just posted this on the Apex forum, but it also pertains here...
I just bought a Nytro and going through it, I noticed the rubber boots on the back of the headlights have vents on them. On my Apex, the boots are/were sealed. Can anyone shed some light (no pun intended) on why Yamaha would produce a sealed headlight assembly on the Apex and a vented one on the Nytro? I have always had condensation inside the headlight housing on the Apex in the morning, so apparently it wasn't completely sealed... For those who own a Nytro and run HID bulbs, have you had premature failure due to moisture? I know that sounds really sexual... give me a break!
