headlight delete question

Going to do headlight delete on my sled. I will be hooking up hid light bar directly to the battery with a on/off switch. Can the charging system be damaged by not having headlight bulbs connected to the headlight connector ?

Won't hurt anything as long as they don't short out. Make sure you fuse the wire going to your new light. Right by the battery.
