I went to change the battery on my 05 Venture and when pulling the airbox aside to access the battery, I noticed 2 hoses. 1 was connected to airbox and someplace else and the other just the airbox. The other end wasn't connected to anything. Is that right? Should both hoses be connected to something?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The larger hose connects to the oil tank, the smaller one is a drain hose to let out water that may accumulate in the airbox. It has no connection.

Thank you so much for the reply. Was trying to figure out if it connected to anything because I read about disconnecting hoses to remove battery. I didn't need to disconnect anything, air box just swung out of the way. Thanks again!

There is one on top of the airbox, facing the engine. That one is connected to the engine. You'll need to disconnect the top hose at the airbox swing the airbox over.

Hmmm. Didn't need to disconnect any hoses. I'll have to go look everything over.
