Venture for sale

I saw this sled for sale and know some here on the forums are actively looking for these. It seemed like a decent deal to me if it is what you want.

that big windshield is nice, the TF's have horrible track drone but not sure about the GT. Thanks for posting Stain.

Is it the track that drones? Is it the rear exhaust? Is it the intake?
We tried to reduce the drone on my friends Apex with some Dyna-mat on the tunnel under the seat---did not work
I had an RX-1 and an Apex that both had a terrible drone. I rode the apex one spring day with a motocross style helmet and the drone was greatly reduced. Makes me wonder if different helmets make the noise worse.

You bet they do. Different heads make the noise worse. Resonant harmonics are the entire package.

I had the track ported, that is when you put 1" holes in the track, some engineering students from Michigan came up with that idea...that only got me holes in the track, didn't touch the drone...I was desperate to get rid of the drone on the TF because I liked the sled. ..eventually I sold it and got the STX- GT...no drone. I bought a 2016 Venture TF for $7k with 43 miles on it, sold it with 1K miles on it for $6500...just wanted it gone.
I believe the Venture GT doesn't have the drone the TF does, I'm sure the advertised sled will find a new home. Joe
