I have a 2007 Rs venture. The spring adjustment is the thread style.I have played with the coupling and the front preload a bit, but have not found a comfortable ride.I rode one of thses sleds on a demo day and it was one of the best riding/comfortable sleds I have ever driven.Any pointers or suggestions for set up?I usually ride without a passenger and weigh around 180lbs.Any any info is appreciated.

RS Venture is pretty stiff all the way around.

Mine is a 2005. The Newer sleds may have slightly different adjustments.

The white two-up spring blocks should be down for solo touring,

As a base line and your weight 180 lbs:

* I would go soft on the front shock spring adjustments. You may have the GYTR's go soft

* Soft to medium on the center shock spring adjustment.

* Soft to medium on the black spring block adjustments

* Transfer rods 1 to 1 1/2" of rod showing.

What I'm basically trying to say is start soft and build firmness from your base line until you find the ride you like.

Take your time and be patient with the sled. Make the next adjustment firmer until you find the "sweet spot".

Just my opinion.

Hope this helps! ;)!
