I just got back from a 200 mile ride. On my way back I noticed a slight vibration on the left side (clutch side) of my Apex GT. Also a slight vibration on the left running board that I never felt before. Machine now has 1100 miles on it. Vibration is more noticable at 60+ mph. I have never hit anything and cant find anything loose to be causing it. I would love to figure it out so it runs as smooth as it did before. Anyone have any ideas on what to check would be appreciated. ;)!

Have you noticed any mph loss? Does it still rip to top end and hold the rpms to attain your top speed,if not check out your dry side bearing on your driveshaft,it could be starting to pooch..

bearing? 1000 miles-bad?

A bearing should sure go more than 1,000 miles.

Is there a reason other than cost not to have a design like on most Polaris sleds where you have a grease fitting(zerk) where you can grease the drive shaft & jack shaft "dry" side bearings?

I notice similar vibes on my Apex ER.

They should last more than 1000 mile but there is no guarantee they will ..

also check your clutches to make sure you dont have a warped one..

My brother had a drive bearing go out on his polaris with 1000 miles on it.. and it was the greasable type..

Very simlilar to mine, turned out to be the helix from Proline clutch kit. I do not have th spec on the bushing but appears the bushing in the Dalton helix is worn

I found the exact same thing on my 2005....it was driving me nuts. Thought it was bearing, chaincase, brake....couldn't figure it out. After 2 days of riding with it I ended up blowing my belt.

When I put the new belt on the vibrations were gone.....figured out it was my belt.

I rode friends GT for 150+ miles and notice a slight vibration in the left footwell/runningboard. I would call it more of a tingle or tickle rather than something harsh. Is this what you guys are experiencing???

Yes ... Vibration is very slight but noticable. I would almost expect it on some of the other junk i've recently ridden. But after the first 800 miles on my GT I definately feel it.

No, this is strong on the bars and footrests, the secondary was wobbling ! Not a nice feel

We all have the very slight vibration in the left running board at about 30-35 mph only. The vibration comes at the same speed and time as the drone type sound.

Mine turned out to be the inner bushing on the secondary was worn out.
