vibrations on 06 apex

I agree with the harmonic noise between 5000 and 6000 rpm. Very annoying. I would definately go for a quieter exhaust. Not trying to impress anyone with a crotch rocket noise.

Well, not to hyjack the post, but last year, my brand new 06 ER, blew a belt at about 500 miles., I put the new belt on , freaked a little that it blew so soon, but anyway, thought nothing more of it. SInce then, at about 65mph, I felt think incredible vibration on from my boot area, almost as if the track was running very loose, tried everything to fix it....no avail. I thought by blowing the belt, I screwed the shaft somehow, took a reading and it was A ok. I sold the sled last week and will now be riding a GT. THE END.

they all have that noise i use ipod and listen to music was alittle disappointed thought sled would be alot better it is loud

The harmonics of the exhaust can be annoying at times.. and at certain RPMs

If yo ignore it. or wear ear plugs that will help alot..

Geezze just gaszz it hard and go,sounds like you all have i am afraid to pin the throttle symdrom,lol WTF is wrong with you guys,just go hold it WFO for 2 miles down a road or trail and it will scare the sheeettt out of you,and you will forget all about the little sounds or vibrations you may have had!!!! Just ride the poop out of it...

Well you are either nuts or don't ride twisties that endanger folks coming around the blind turn into you, hopefully! Pounding the crap out of moguls is really fun too,not! Beginning to think these tunnels won't take it either. WOT is not always the answer. Enough said!

Get a tigher/better fitting helmet.... I'm with the others, you need to get on the gas or by a slower sled.
