Viper shift pattern?

What are people finding the viper likes for the shift? On my apex, it seemed that the 4 stroke and torque in that thing liked being loaded up initially and underrev (like 10,400), and then building up to full rpm (10,800 plus). Is the viper the same? Or should you try to get it to run up as close to 9000-9100 all the way thru?

I start my shift at about 8000 and let it build to 9050 seems to work great for me. Most say peak torque is at about 7900-8000 and that seems about right.
