Well first problem with the new sled. Went to check it over after doing a ride a couple days ago and found the regulator laying in the bottom of the belly pan. Not positive on where it mounts. I’ve found a bracket that I assume fits the regulator and a spot where the holes match up just not certain how it actually mounts or positive that I’m in the correct spot. Parts diagram just shows bolts that’s why I’m a bit confused and wondering if there is something else loose.

Better check your clutches also. If loose hardware is rolling around in there it can get in the belt and chew up the clutch faces.

Did a bit more thinking about it and just for kicks looked up a 2022 ltx gt with power steering to see if they showed the bracket there for the regulator. Sure enough my suspicion was correct. They must mount something with the power steering off that side where the regulator used to mount.

Yes the voltage regulator was moved on the 2022 sidewinders compared to earlier models.. I believe they moved it on ALL 2022 sidewinders.. Because of the EPS system that was made available in 2022.
