Let's hear about your experiences with and without a blow-off valve on an MPI supercharger. I hear good and bad things about the subject so would someone chime in on this and tell us about mileage gains (or losses), throttle response (boost lag time), etc.

Thanks,
Moon

I did a search using keyword...BOV...and it resulted in 136 matches !!!

I did another search using author...HAMMER...and keyword...BOV...20 matches !!!

Pretty much everything you need to know has already been posted. In my opinion, to not use one at over 5lbs boost, in this SC application, is friggen retarded. Compressor surge IS a bad thing !!!

Ideally you want to get it in the charge pipe from the supercharger to the intercooler or the lower intercooler tank.

I had one in here last March and it was in the Charge pipe before the intercooler, it was very tight but it fit and worked extremely well.

You should be aware that you may have to increase the size of your pilots and possibly raise you needles because you taking the pressure off the float bowls during light throttle operation.

An Innovate Wide band gauge can be priceless to get your carbs or fuel injection dialed in.

Ohh Yeah, The bender kits are a littel trickey because of where they source the signal for the carb bowls, just a little rejetting is required.
