Im running hurricanes 300ss tune and just put in a gss 342 walbro pump. Wondering if anyone is running this pump with the stock fuel regulator? Is the fuel regulator a must? looks like regulator options are the td adjustable or dave's fixed they are both fairly pricey.

It is not required assuming your regulator is working correctly. If so it will keep fuel pressure at 43.5psi with key on regardless of the pump your using.Im running hurricanes 300ss tune and just put in a gss 342 walbro pump. Bigger pumps should be rewired with a bigger relay as the stock fuel pump wiring is very suspect, especially with a bigger pump.
