Looks like the steering gate is a bolt on item and that is the only difference between the DB1 and DB2 chassis. Everything else after from a Apex will line right up hood, side panels, headlights, etc.

I got all of the parts to do it built mine (03 RX-1) inserted injected Apex motor 1-1/2 yrs ago then lew the motor but have the gate tank...... to go either way
