I have just over 600 miles now with Rocks controller and my handwarmers are fantastic. I even have to turn them down once in a while.

I am wondering where the fuse is. There should be one in the red wire off the battery, as close to the battery as possible. I guess I missed seeing it. Fuses are especially imporatnt on non-factory wiring as it is typically the most suseptable to not being fastened down correctly.

I don't have Grip Warmer problems. But a friend of mind was asking about it on his 07 Apex today. Rockmeister: Are you peddling this as a mod kit.?

Hmmm... Guess if I was selling snake oil, "peddling" would be appropriate... lol

In this case, I do have a solution for cold hands that works!

The fuse holder is right at the end of the power wire where it attaches to the battery. With-in 6". Kinger re-located his to the bars.

Daranello: Odds are, you will ONLY use the switch in the late spring, rest of the year won't even touch it.

Thanks. I'll pass this info on to my friend. He is not on the I-Net, yet. So, ... We'll see what he says.

Sounds interesting. Is the unit solid-state? I think I could whip up the circuits to do this. But, you are right, getting the right components at a reasonable price could be a pain. Packing them in a miniature waterproof container could also be a challenge.

Like I said before, I don't have the problem. Consequently, I was not following this thread. Nice piece of work!
