Warning light

Any idea why my warning light would come on with out any warning indicators on? Had plenty of fuel when it came on twice while in the u.p. last weekend. Thanks for any input!!!

I assume when you say no warning indicators your hot light wasn't on? Was the machine running good?

Hot light was not on and sled was running strong. I see ur from anchorage Alaska? Have u ever heard of Alaskan snowmobile salvage? Aka A.S.S

Yep I was on the phone with them a little bit ago looking for the part I have posted in the wanted section of here.

My uncle owned it for years. I believe he just sold it a yr or so, he was also a trail breaker for the Iditarod for many many yrs.

Ya it got bought about 2 years ago if I recall. Decent group of guys own it now though sometimes you have to haggle because they'll ask for like $10 less then new on a $150 part...

I hade the same thing go on I #*$&@ the sled off and started it agin it was out idk what it was ppl say it mean ur motor getting hot

You will have an icon on the dash with the yellow warning light to tell you what it is warning you about. Hard to see but it's there. Check that or learn them from the manual so you know.
