Hey guys just looking for some help with what I have to do regarding transferring a warranty. I am picking up a 16 Viper and it has one year left on the warranty i want to also but a Y.E.S. warranty for it. Just need to know what i need to do and if i need anything from the previous owner.

just go to yamaha dealer an they can tell Yamaha the new owner name address for there file.

X2. When I purchased my 08 Apex back in 2011, we met at a Yamaha dealer (seller was riding buddies with dealer) and they had the Y.E.S. warranty transfer already taken care of. And if I'm not mistaken, as long as your existing manufacturer's warranty is still in place, you can extend it via a Y.E.S. warranty.
