I am considering a new Viper MTX but am still hearing about this Star that refuses warranty claims? Is that the Yamaha warranty program?
I had bought one of the very first Nytros in 2008 and had all kinds of issues with it and the biggest being the front frame bent from just riding across a field that was a little rough, the replacement frame was completely different and reinforced indicating there was a problem. Was told "Star" denied the warranty, luckily the dealer agreed to cover the cost of the part and I put it in.
Is this "Star" program still in place? I heard the other day from an Edmonton dealer, this Star program was still a big issue and I was better off to buy the Cat version with the Yamaha engine. Anyone else having warranty issues?
