Well I've had my 04 Warrior for 5 years now, I presently have 12K miles on it, and to be quite honest I'm getting tired of fixing it and the oil that it's burning :o|
I've had a list of problems with it: broken welds on the "W" Arm, Exhaust problems twice, including cracked cross over pipe, broken drive shaft, burns about 1 Qt of oil every 500 miles, etc, etc...

So how reliable are the Vectors and the LTX version? I would just like to know how maintenance friendly they are, any issues with them?
I just might be buying one in the future with the fuel injection: 128 HP

i did the switch this year, same as you,i had an 04 warrior wich was very reliable to me over the 5 years i had it,there was hardly any oil burning with mine,it had 12000 miles also when i sold it,the only issue that i had was a broken drive shaft last season at 11 000 miles,i thought it was pretty good for all that mileage, anyway,i got an 09 vector ltx at begining of winter, its an awesome machine but at 1000 miles my transfer rod backed off and bent and damaged the track, they installed new track and rod on warranty and all as been fine since,i have 4000 miles on it this season, the mono is harder on hyfax, nature of the beast, there are things you can do,like pull strap, install anti wear pads and keep the track looser then usual and these really help, the transfer rod lock nut should be thightened with a chisel and hammer to make sure it doesnt back off,oil changes on the vec are much easier than the warrior, the filter is easy to get too, take off pannel underneath and the filter is right there, the motor doesnt burn 1 drop of oil and from what hondo is saying, his motor doesnt burn any with 40000 miles on it,impressive.the ride and handling is way better than the warrior.the power is more than enough on the trails and the 2010 is more powerful,go for it,you wont regret it,super quiet also and gooooood on gas

I here your pain, got a 04 warrior with over 5000miles that is a oil burner(tested the ring free this past season, works as long as the stuff is in the fuel, quite expensive). My brother owns a 06nytro which i find alot lighter, way easier on fuel(13mpg vs 18mpg),and don,t burn any oil so far(5000+miles).The only thing he had to replace so far is the exhaust donuts and oil tank(due to the famous crack near the mount).Power difference down low i would give to the nytro but my warrior past 85mph has way more top-end.I love the 136 track on my warrior.Take it any day over a 121.My warrior is a pretty good cross-country sled but the nytro has an advantage(much lighter).Any of the 120-130 vector should be good sleds with less fatigue for the rider.
