Washer trick with helix, does it apply to aftermarket helix?

My sled has the Bender helix, was just wondering if the washer trick would gain me a few MPH on top end or if that only applys to the stock helix?

Usually they are already machined for overdrive so the washers probably won't do anything.

Heasured the factory opening up top 59mm with the shim 61mm

With my dalton 52R46 i mesures 61.5-62mm so im not sure if u shim it more it will make a difference. u can try and let use know
