I heard that you can put washers on the posts in your secondary clutch when you use the white spring so you can keep your top end, does this work? How thick of a washer? Where exactly do the washers go? Do they go on the 3 posts that you place the helix on or the back side of secondary to adjust belt ride height? Thanks, Lee ;)!

LB is correct....

I just want to add that this is BUILT IN with most all aftermarket HELIXs....my Dalton will shift out further then stock helix without the washers on posts.

IMO,unless you are cutting your PRIMARY clutch for more OD,you really DO NOT NEED this mod as belt will never get pulled that far down into secondary.

washers

even with out cutting the primary there is some gain with the 5/16s lock washers not that much but some. more than most would beleve. for some thing so simple its a good gain .
