i have an 06 apex rtx and i took my secondary clutch off, but before i noticed the order of the washers on the engine side they fell to the belly pan. when looking at them i noticed 1 is thicker and grooved the other is a plain thin washer what order do they go back on the shaft or doesn't it matter, also does the groove face a certain way? thanks ahead 4 any answers!

One with the groove goes on first, groove facing in towards the motor, then the thin one.

best thing to do is use a straight bar(i have a 3/8 stock square bar from Home depot) and measure your offset.....

measure by placing a flat bar against REAR TOP part of primary drive clutch extending back towards secondary driven clutch.

measure the distance from backside of primary to backside of secondary, this should be 15mm (+-1mm)

shim accordingly, and typically there is "float" in the secondary.

just buy the clutch tool from bruce @ pioneer performance and you can measure the center to center also, just my 2 cents.

Just checked my offset. To get it "close" to 15mm, the only spacer I need on the jackshaft behind the clutch, is the thick one with the bearing race relief cut into it. Is this normal, or is my engine mounting way off?
