weather why why

Did you guys see the rain In the upper peninsula today? I just saw weather for seney right around 30 degrees for the next ten days.

Not sure what you're crying about...30 degrees is below freezing. Every 10-15 day forecast I've looked at has shown 31 for a high, so that's a good thing. Have faith my friend!

This is all we had around the cabin but I'm in Menominee county, the lowest part of the UP, other part's had 8"-20" but 45° temps and rain took care of that, I'm truly getting depressed but there is hope in the near forecast.

Well, we're still planning on heading up to the U.P. (Curtis/Seney) for our annual Christmas/New Years snowmobile trip but it ain't looking good after seeing this picture from Maters in Seney yesterday. Still 5 days away and anything can happen so am still holding out hope. Feel like Loyd on Dumb and Dumber..."so you're telling me there's a chance" lol

The Upper Peninsula had better snow conditions last year then we do this year at this time.

That's for sure! I ended up putting on 2500 miles last year in the U.P. on my new Apex XTX.

66° and rained 1.5" here in Central NY, Tug Hill and Old Forge areas.

Mother nature must hate us.

Yeah, was gonna take a quick run up to Highmarket the other day for the seasonals, but didnt.....it'll be back...just hope the mud holes freeze over...they get some real doozies on the hill!!
We only made 55 degrees near Howe caverns....but heavy fog all day. Miserable.

For what it's worth, I saw a prediction summary on Canada's 'The weather network' today for this winter. They are expecting slightly colder than normal for areas of Michigan/Ontario to the east coast and normal to slightly above normal precipitation from here on in through the end of Feb. Warmer for Western Canada.

looks like a repeat of last year so far for michigan

Looks like rain for rain this week for the upper peninsula

Received 3" of rain locally over the past 10 days. This just sucks. Old Man winter needs to arise from his slumber.

This looks pretty promising for the western and central UP....

January 7 and rain !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup complete BS. It has rained more this January then it has snowed. That's pretty sad. This has been one sad winter and I have a feeling a lot of people are going to be selling sleds and looking for something else with wheels.
