After one year 3200 miles. I had the rear suspension re-valved and springs were changed by Bruce at Pioneer P. I also swapped out the Fox's for Yamaha gytr clickers. Added the 13mm sway bar as well.

My question is the following: is there anyway to get the suspension to hook up better with more weight transfer? Is there anyway to achieve more weight transfer with the stock transfer rods? Is there anyway to keep the sled from ratcheting with out having a fully clipped track with anti-ratchet drivers???? I also have the limiter straps tight also.

I have spent countless hours tuning sled and figure I will stretch it to a 136" and add a fully clipped track with anti-ratchet drivers. There is currently 7500 miles on the sled. Is there any mods that can be made to the transfer rods or after market transfer rods for this sled?

I also have clutching, Hauck Ram air, full exhaust, timing advanced, and fuel box.

Thanks guys for the help!

This is the kind of stuff I was running into when sorting mine out. Didn't work out for me. That's why the Polaris suspension is there now.

I have founf that there is not alot of options for the RTX suspensions.... unless you get rid of it. I've done the same, rebuild/revalve witch made a pile of difference in ride but it still does not have the transfer that i would like. i have just under 10000 miles on the RTX and have come to the conclusion that unless the suspension comes out.... i'm stuck with what i have... as these things compress, the track loosens a bit causing ratcheting ... so the anti ratchet drivers work great...

After the re-valve, the ride of the stock suspension is much improved!

I figure I will by another sled in a couple years so I am not exactly sure what I want to stick into the rear suspension. Hauck and Port Yamaha both claim that if I install a fully clipped track and drivers that will help.

Thanks guys

The drivers and track will do the job for you regarding the ratcheting deal just fine, but they don't fix that suspension.

A complete Polaris, Cat, or Doo (your favorite)suspension could be done for the same (or much less) price as the new track and drivers, would fix the ratcheting deal AND give you control over what the suspenion is doing.

I did track, drivers, and skid for less than 1000. I did spend some time getting the suspension calibration right for the way I use the sled, but today, there's still nothing available that has given me an itch to buy anything else. If I were doing it again, I wouldn't do the drivers, but would still jump at the chance to do the Cobra. FWIW
