maddogjeff you are right, it is a weakness (flaw ... cough!) x 3 as we have 3 Nytros 2007 with the same situation.
Duct tape time, polaris isopropyl and a satellite phone for my next 10 days trip.

I thought there was a "report-button" on the sides/top like in other forums? Has it been removed, or is my memory playing tricks on me???

On the air-box issue, i would get a SLP prefilter-sheet, and glue it over the opening, to hold the powder snow out from the box...
