Well these must be good sleds...

Ok, I got it filled in finally. I called Heinens yesterday but no one answered. Then I forgot to try calling back again. According to their website they don't have any but that doesn't mean anything. I'm a little hesitant to do business with them because they tried to sell my buddy a Sno Pro 500 as "new" but it had 18 miles on it and the thing was absolutely filthy. But if they have the sled I want and will let it go for a good price, I just might be their customer.

I think I would use USHIP rather than a 25 hour trip......................

I've been traveling long distances for years to buy stuff. I'm in Michigan and drove to New York to buy my Attack. Drove to West Virginia for a KX250F, heck, I drove to California to buy a manual lathe. Anticipation is half of the excitement for me; plus road trips are always fun!

in 2000 I moved to MN and started sledding again. I was always a Yammi guy and had no idea that Polaris and Cat were from here. I bought 2 sleds from F&S Yamaha in PA and drove 22 hrs each way to get them. Oh yea I did not have a trailer either, so I drove around a bunch of trailer lots till I found one. I did not realize it was only 7' wide so for 2 yrs I drug sleds to the UP 10 to 15 times a season with one on backwards to get them on it.:o|

On a positive note when I got home it snowed that night and I got to go for a ride the next day.

I drove half way around Lake Michigan to Sturgeon Bay, Wi. to pick up my barely used 2014 Viper LTX. My wife and I made a mini vacation out of it and saved a pile of $$$$. The things we do for the hobbies we love.

Moon motorsports in Monticello had 14 rtx or ltx red/black yet when i bought my xtx this spring for 8600. You could call them as they were putting them back in storage when i picked mine up.

Drive to PA and you can have our 14 xtx for $6500. It's not cosmetically perfect as it was an insurance sled we bought last fall. We fixed it to make it rideable. Put 2k miles on it last season testing some products. Has 3k miles on it now.
