Went for a ride on the bike today! 2C or 35F

First part of the ride was sweet, sun shining brightly pavement dry. Then it started to rain with what sometimes looked like a mix of snow. Had my leather sled jacket on so I was warm except for my knees and hands. Cold was coming through the leather gloves before the rain so after it just got a little colder. Put on about 60 or so miles.

Cold but a very nice ride, been raining for a week or so now mixed with snow. Got about 2 inches of snow on Sunday. Every ride I get in on the Bike might be the last one now. Winter is coming folks!

Ya, my knees get cold also at that temp. I use knee pads like the ones used for flooring. Work perfect.

I'm in the same boat, I have ridden to work the past two days. It was between 35 and 39 both days. Folks were scraping frost off windshields and you could see their breaths. I put in my jacket liner and fired up the heated grips. Gotta love a bike with heated grips just for this reason.

We have warmed up to the 60's in the afternoon. So the ride home is awesome! It's just a bit on the chilly side on the way in. I will hang it up when the snow sticks, or it is as cold on the ride home as the ride to work.

if the rain would let up, i would put some more miles on the xt now that i have the lights figured out. got close to 2700km on the wr over the summer but it is really cold to ride below +5c.

Been out riding last 2 days with temps up to 21c (74F) Nicest Oct I've seen here in the last 25 years.

Same for us. Snow forecasted for Monday but 78f today! Rode to work!
