have read dozens of posts on here concerning this but all i c is speculation and ideas on how to fix it. other than buying better boots what is the consensus easiest way to fix the wet boot syndrome.

Duct tape close the vent by your foot, just the top one. Leave the bottom one open yet. It will stop the freezing spray coming through the vent and it has been working great for me. Try that and see how that works.

Didn't someone suggest caulking a couple of holes on the tunnel under the seat? Did this work?

I taped it off with gorilla tape and so far no wet boot yet....

Anybody got any pics they can post, to show the rest of us, which holes for sure?
no disrespect intended here. I have a 2009 RTX. I ride my sled with a water proof insulated boot. I could not tell u if my left foot was wetter than my right. My feet are dry an warm within the boot. Does this wet left boot issue cause icing to build up on running board. I have not seen this myself as of yet. Again I'm just curious as i notice this as a major concern with Nytro. I understand all the other documented issues this one does not seem to be on par with ball joints, sub frames, sliders, heaters.

If you do a search there is another post that has pictures of exactly where to close off. Its the vent right above your left boot, with round holes. Hope that helps

I've not had any ice issues on the running boards/tunnels but I do notice ice build up on the front of my bibs near my foot, compared to the right side. I have Klim boots so I haven't bothered dealing with the wet foot issue.

That is what I had happening too, that is before I closed off my vent. You don't get that freezing spray after closed off. And no iceing issue on my boards or tunnel either. I think it depends in what conditions you drive in too. In powder I do notice some snow build up but only in powder riding. If my feet are wet its from sweat not the sled pissing water in boots LOL
