I was reading about a few months back and remember seeing pics but I can't find them now either. If I recall there were two holes under the tank that needed rtv or something.

If you block off the footwell hole the problem will be done . What happens is the snow gets inside eng. area melts and the clutches blow the water out those holes all over your leg and foot whitch gets your foot wet so plug them and you will be good

Well it will build heat in the clutches but im just letting them know how the water is getting there , so want wet foot or no cant have everything pluging holes in the top of tunnal isn't going to help . Its blowing out from the clutches .... I ride in klim boots so i don't care about it my foot or feet never get wet

I bought new boots just for this reason. I never understood where it was coming from until I moved my sled around with just jeans and tennis shoes on. I instantly felt the spray coming from the clutch area. New boots help, but when my riding gear completely soaks through it transfers to my pants-sock-and down my boot. So i'm in the same boat. Good thing it only happens when i'm riding in nothing but powder.
