Ok guys what is a fix for the wet left boot? I really love this sled but this left wet boot is really starting to annoy me. I tried to kind of watch my left leg (boot) and see where it is coming from but can't really tell. After about a 200 mile ride yesterday I was really happy with the sled, but not to thrilled about my soaked left leg up to my knee. If anyone has done anything to help this situation out I be willing to try, I thought about using some duct tape and tape off the holes in the aluminum and see if that helps.
Also I was wondering if anyone make a screen kit for the intakes on this sled, I think if we could slow down the snow coming into the engine bay maybe we could slow down the water coming out?
Thanks for the help!!

There are other threads about the wet left boot and screen kits on this site you may want to check out.
I tried duct tape on my last trip out, and my left foot was dry. It is too early to tell if this is a fix or was a result of the riding and snow conditions. I also wonder if blocking the flow of air in this area is a good thing.

I pluged the hole by the clutches and put some prefilter material over fron vents along with some klim boots I have pants and feet.

Same as KINS.
Just pull the side panel off, put a trouble light under the sled, then grab some duct tape. Between that and plugging the hole by the secondary, everything is now OK. Yamaha is working on a proper fix.
PS
Trail ride only... something tells me more may be involved if you go off trail.
