My buds all ditched their 800 Polaris's after breaking cranks. 3 last year alone out of 5 sleds so stay away from the 800 Poo unless you know it's had the bottom end redone and the big bearing added. After you do the rider forward on an RX any of those other sleds you mentioned including a non rider forward RX all seem like riding a chopper. There is a reason there are so many for sale for cheap, it's because they are "Old School" and always will be, there's nothing you can do to change them. Trailing arm suspensions are done, they've had their day. The RX can be modded into modern ergos sled with very little work. There is no better mod platform out there for the do it yourselfer. I've built mod sleds on lot's of different platforms and with the 4 stoke motor in the RX you'll have a sled that can last you 10 years if you want it to. Buy a doo and you'll be flogging it at a loss next season and looking for the RX anyways.
