Yamaha belt. If you go with a Gates, they have a 1 year warranty.

I only got 2000km's out of my OEM Belt and then the threads started coming out of it. Anyone else had this problem? I was thinking of getting an Ultimax 3 belt to replace it has anyone used this belt?

I have one. I use it for drag racing because you lose about 5 MPH on the top end using one. The take off is snappier though because the belt is a little more softer than OEM and grabs better.

I got 6700 miles on the OEM belt and it's still got more to go.

Yamaha belt for sure. I tried a Dayco III last year and grenaded it after crossing open water. Belt only had 200 miles on it. Put the original 8dn on and it's still working. Not planning on crossing water again, wasn't planning on it the first time but when you're the only Yamaha and all these Jet Skies, a.k.a. REVS do it , well what could I do.
