I have a 2003 RX-1. What is the generally recognized best belt around these forums? OEM Yamaha?
Indy

OEM is the best, bar none.

we have tried aftermarket ones on other yamaha sleds and they still blow up even when it is only 80hp torturing it.

I actually like the Dayco for my rx and the yami for my srx. Seems to last longer for me.

I would go with the oem. I blew my first belt
at 4000
. miles. I don't baby my sled at all.

ok, sounds great guys. I have always used OEM belts, but as we all know certain pieces of machinery can be picky. Just wanted opinions for in the future when I have to pick up a new belt.
the oems are so tough they will wear deep cruiser grooves in your clutch sheave faces.

I use one belt a year....4000 to 5000 miles. OEM all the way.
