Matt: Good to see you in the UP at Bootleg a while ago. I did get the Boss seats back after the re-fit and with a little work, we got both of our seats to fit like stock! No gaps on the tunnel, tank cover snaps in perfectly, etc. Boss did a good job on the re-work. I can attest that the ride is way beyond that of a stock sled. 10 times more comfortable, better position, about half way to the new position for the 06's. Without a doubt, the best mod out there. So much so, I am passing on a new sled next year and running this one one more season. Thanks for all of your help. I doubt I will ever run another sled without a Boss seat.

The sled is in my trailer over at a friends house (he has way more driveway than I) I will try to stop over there this weekend.

my boss seat wieghs 6lbs stock was 14lbs, 8lbs savings

My Boss seat weighs 4 lbs. Its a mod seat that doesnt cover the turbo/exhaust. I will be redesigning it this summer to go up around the tank cap like other highrises. this would be for those who want to ditch the tank cowling.
There was a time where they had a few issues with their RX seats but Boss has them figured out for the RX now and they are only a week or so on production. Let me know if any of you want one, I have the best prices around. I am also taking spring check orders now. $50 dep gets you the best price of the year and you will get you seat sometime in August.

I really love the new riding position. It saves your legs if you're standing up a lot. I've ridden with it all year. I also added a 3" bar riser to compliment the added ride height. I'm not sure how it would be with stock bars, but I would think they would be too low.
