I need my front shocks to have more compression dampning or Im gonna have to change them out. I have a local shock guy who can rebuild them but needs to know what to do for more compression dampning, maybe remove some washere, or change a valve or where to get parts. I am in Canada and didn't want to send them to the us for rebuilding due to customs problems and the LONG shipping times involved.
What do you guys suggest?

I'd get rid off those heavy jobs and get fox air shocks.

If you want some good dampening make sure to get float 2's at a minimum or upgrade to the ones with adjustable rebound dampening , makes a world of difference.
Stock floats are no better than the stockers you have, Ohlins is the best there is period .

I got fox floats when I changed my rx1m front suspension to barkbuster with floats...
hated the floats since day1....
now put back stock shocks but kept the barkbuster suspension....
the floats are on my radar sled... that is the only use I found for them.

Im not sure Ohlins make a set for the MTX version with short travel suspension, I was told to stay away from the fox float 1'st design.

You should get floats or ohlins. I've got 1 gen floats on mine. Way better than the stockers..

I put on a set of WORKS shocks that I got from Tom Hartman. A HUGE upgrade over stock. Decent price too.
