I have Bergstrom triple point 8 inch, 144 studs, shims and ski savers. I also got my shock revalved and put in the heavier spring. The only suspension adjustment I made was to back off on the front springs about 2 turns each to help with the tippiness. Where are you guys having the most luck with your strap for light steering and flat cornering. I'm not a racer so I don't care much about absolute traction but I don't want the thing to be a bear to turn. Should I pull out the shims? Are the bergstroms and the ski savers enough to eliminate darting?

I backed off on the front shock preload about 1 inch. Pulled the limiter strap up one hole and adjusted my transfer between half and minimum.

shimming???
I shimmmed 3/16", was too much and made steering very hard. Maybe less shim, for me I removed.

So does tightening it one hole make the steering any heavier?

Limiter up 1 hole tighter.Corners better.
Unless you totally mash the moguls you may want to leave it alone as it does take away some from full travel.
When you sit on the sled the strap in the stock hole is a little loose to begin with.
