I have a 05 RX1-ER and I took apart my chain case to replace the cog shaft. Put everything back (I thought) and found this part? It's 1" ID and 1.25" OD and about 0.638 inches long. Looks like a collar. Has no seal on it.

Gose on the top shaft on the out side of the cover behinde the barke claper in front of the seal. I think.

Not for sure, but it looks like the spacer that seperates the upper chaincase gear from the upper chaincase bearing. I don't see how you would have gotten the upper gear nut tight without it though.

That's the one I thought it could be, but I see there are some spacers at the brake disc that may be more likely to get missed during reassembly.
