I've been hearing a lot about push on corners. I think this expression is new. What exactly is push.

Push is when you're trying to turn left or right but your sled still wants to go straight.

yep same as sliding or drifting thru the corner

Push ,understeer and tight are the same thing. Too much hookup in rear, not enough in front.sled won't turn. i.e weight transfer, ski pressure, carbides and even keel design on skis. I'll take a slightly loose sled over a tight sled any day.

Sliding or drifting implies the rear or entire sled is losing grip through the corner, a push means only the front is losing grip.

Rent days of thunder - Tom gets a quick lesson on the diff between tight and loose. Loose is fast but hard to control back end wants to pass the front. Tight, a push drives the front straight ahead no matter what steering imput is given.

I'm just curious about all the ill handling sleds. I've got stock skis, idlers, and carbides, and everything is perfect.
