Nice Rumble, did you notice that you have one of the mirror brackets upside down in your pics?

I vote for the glove mirror. It works awesome and is only $6-10 bucks. I've had the powermadd stick on mirrors and they fall off and vibrate so much you can't really even use them.
SnoWarrior said:I just installed the Powermadd guards, the Star series with the cover extensions and the mirror kit. I have them on my Warrior and the mirrors are just enough to see if someone is behind you. They should be warm with the extensions.

Do you have better picks showing the install. I have powermadds also but I used the stock aluminium mounts and cut the guards to fit.

A couple of weeks ago, I ended up putting my sled on it's side and sure enough, the plastic mount for the mirror broke from the impact. Checking the parts catalog online, Dealers up here list the price at $50! No friggin way was I gonna pay that much for such a chincy part.
I came up with a solution...I purchased two nuts, M10 with a 1.25 thread (not an easy find for some reason), and welded them to a steel plate that I had lying around.
Here are a couple of pics for those who broke theirs and want a cheap solution. Btw, I broke the left mirror mount, which has the normal right hand thread. The right mount has a left hand thread, probably quite difficult to find.

Good decision. And how exactly are mounted mirrors? You can fotoSnoWarrior said:I just installed the Powermadd guards, the Star series with the cover extensions and the mirror kit. I guess these have come WAY down in price since this topic was last posted in? I found this Nytro Mirror set on Ebay for $64 with free shipping. They look like they belong on the sled IMHO, and they are very functional also. Nice mod and worth the money. They came in a Yamaha box and fit perfectly, just be sure and use locktite on the threads...

I ended up finding a smokin deal on the mirror kit for $50 sometime ago from some accessory shop in the States, but I can't remember where anymore. To top it off, I wasn't charged duty or shipping.
Fyi, the kit is still $138 here in Canada.
