What parts are interchangeble between Nytro and Apex ?
Driveshaft, Jackshaft, gears, is the chaincase the same dimension ? will the outer chain case from a Apex fit on a Nytro ?
is there other Yamaha models with the same splines on the top and bottom gears ?

The chaincase design of FX Nytro is a completely different story compared to Apex and the older models. Some part numbers for sprockets and chains are for sure interchangeable, but shafts, bearings, bearing holders, covers and many other parts are different.

Ok ! ill explain myself better.
I have the diecast chassi halves and front cooler from a Nytro, im planning a modified subframe build and later buy the nytro but i started thinking why not a Apex instead (and make a Nypex)
And i want to know if i have to get the jackshaft, driveshaft and chaincase stuff from a Nytro or if the Apex stuff is the same.
when it comes to the top and lower gears i have a idea of using in something with the right splines to use as centers for belt pulleys. so they will be machined, so the cheaper the better, is it the same splines on older Yamahas ?

You have to use the nytro drivetrain if your using the stock diecast pieces. Diamond S will sell you replacement plates then you do not use the diecast parts but rather these new plates then you can use the proven apex chain case, jackshaft, etc.

Hey
could you help me out by any chance. Got a 2006 Yamaha nytro and I gotta take out my driveshaft and the track and stuff. So far I’m down to the chain case and all the gears are pulled off. What else needs to happen after that? The chaincase design of FX Nytro is a completely different story compared to Apex and the older models.
