What purchases/trips are u not making due to lack of snow?

I have about 350 miles on in southern mn so far ,we have been riding minnesota river and some trails, riding has beenfair, but with these warm temps and rain 80% chance thurs and friday and now they took most of snow out of forcast, it look likes conditons will be unridable by this weekend. we are going to black hills in feb and northern bighorns in march, it looks like a low milage year again is setting up for minnesota again this winter

I have cut way back. Sold double trailer, kids mini, and my main sled 10 MXZ X 1200 and all accesories. Also my annual trip out. Can't justify the expense anymore with the low amounts of snow. Now I'm back to just riding the local trails weather permitting without worrying if I'm getting enough use out of the sleds. On the flip side, I still have my 20' bowrider, my GSXR 750 and my Apex so can't complain.

With all the money I'm saving not riding this year, (one cancelled trip and another not looking very promising), I will have more cash to put on the HID's and Yamaheaters I've wanted.

The wife is going to Ho Chunk (casino) this weekend and just asked for some gambling money.
There goes the HID's. . .

cant make my trip this year due to new job and no vacation time for a while,#@%#@,but will plan 2 ,3 day weekend instead,

i would say that its a matter of how much extrs money have you spent on your sled that you would have spent on trips not taken due to no snow. myself i have spent an extra 500 on my sled this year that i would have been more then happy to spend on a trip instead but as the old adage goes if you dont spend your budget you will get less next year this is way true in my house.
