I have a 2003 RX-1 and it is in need of a new track. What size 1.25 or can I go 1.5? I will want to add studs so my guess is 1.25. Any help would be appreciated. I don't really care about top speed I'm more concerned with the weight when it gets stuck.
Thanks
Thanks

You dont want to be studding a 1.5, but with a 1.5, why would you want to? If studding is your condition, then 1.25 will be best, but there is a HUGE advantage to not studding - you can remove all the tunnel protectors. With the tunnel protectors removed, there is nothing to hold the big chunks of snow and ice up in the tunnel.

Thanks for the input lazybastard. We have a lot of icy areas around here especially when we don't have a lot of snow so I think I need some studs to slow down going down hill. I guess the 1.25 will be the track then.

COuple guys one here say its about like a normal track with 96 studs in it on acceleration and about like having 144 for braking and turning. Sounds like a nice deal. The predator is a different compound that will last longer and can come pre-drilled for studs, this is the direction I am heading.

I just the track, but I posted on the apex side ,and there were several guys using them, they are not made to lake race, but should work good for trail riding check this post it will give you second thoughts on studding http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=41614
