Rode them all. Still have a Cat and the Yami. Would buy another Cat or a Doo or another Yami. Of the fourstroke kind of course.

I love the way the doo's handle.... just can't be beat... but YAMAHA engineers flexed there mucles on the engine's... if they could only make a better chasis. I can say they are a very complicated chasis... i'm in the process on replacing RH side bulkhead.... all i can say is WOW... they things are an engineering marvile but there are alot of places that done need to be so "complicated"..

Not counting the old olympics I had as a youngster. First yamaha was 82 SRV, next Cat 550, next Nytro. Plan on having this for a while although my next sled I will put more consideration into handling.

Started on Cat in '02, switched to Yamaha in '06. I'll probably be on a Doo next because that's what the rest of my family went to. Until Polaris pulls their head out of the sand and makes a legit 4 stroke, I won't be on one any time soon. And I won't go back to Cat until they improve their quality.

Going back oh 30 some years.....Cat (Panther), Doo (Nordic), John Deere (Trailfire), Cat (El Tigre), Cat (Couger), Cat (Jag), Cat (ZL550), Yammi Phazer, Yammi Vector.
I started on an old Doo...but always wanted a Yamaha...finally got one as a teenager ( 80 SS440 ) but after 2 seasons got out of the sport for quite a few years. When I got back into the sport I got Yamahas ( SR-V's)...and then went to a Cat F7 after my 99 SRX ( loved the sled...but need suspension ). The wifey had a Polaris XP 600 ( good little sled )...I came back to Yamaha after three years of my F7 ( which was a great sled ) and plan on keeping this one for a few more years...I'm a Yammi fan and hope I can stay with them.
